‘Tis the season for pumpkin spice – in everything, or so it seems. I’ve personally seen pumpkin spice cereal, yogurt, oatmeal, cookies, sugar wafers, sausage (?), gum (??), coffee, creamer, ice cream, donuts, tea, candy, baking chips, waffles, breads, butter (???), cream cheese (?!?!), and who knows what else. But have you seen a pumpkin spice bird?
While I don’t mind a wee bit of pumpkin spice flavor – a spicy homemade pumpkin pie is my favorite, topped with an obscene amount of Cool Whip, though I don’t mind the occasional pumpkin spice donut as well – I don’t particularly care for the flavor, as I’m more of an apple girl. To each their own, of course, and if you enjoy pumpkin spice, feel free to indulge. While I don’t understand the overwhelming fetish for it at this time of year, it does make perfect fall coloration (hopefully not flavoring!) for a bird, however!
What is your favorite fall flavor – or fall bird? Leave a comment to share the tastes of the season and spread pumpkin spice, apple, or other fall smiles!

There was a spotted towee in my backyard yesterday–very Halloween themed plumage.
What a wonderful bird to see! Thanks so much for sharing!
