It’s my birthday (50th, to be exact!), but the gift is for you with this giveaway! My birthday is coming up this fall and I always dream of what I want. No gifts really, just food. If I want to go big, I would love a fat, smothered burrito. If I’m feeling in a quiet, simple mood, I’d be very happy with a package of Hostess Snoballs. LOL, yes, really.

I celebrated by going for a ride with my sister today, having lunch at a nice restaurant
and coming home to water my flowers, clean and fill the birdbath and water the vegetables. What was fun is there were about 10 black capped chickadees dancing on the Rhodie leaves taking a shower under the sprinkling. I tried to take a picture but they were too quick and the light was not good. Anyway, Happy birthday to you too. It’s fun to find friends that I can
have a “twin birthday” with. Oh yes .. I LOVE apple spice cake with cream cheese frosting. It is so decadent !

I need to eat gluten free, and my mom always makes me some sort of gluten free treat for my birthday. Whatever she makes is always my favorite! (Usually gluten free cupcakes with caramel frosting).
Happy Birthday! Hope you got your favorite cake to celebrate! I can’t have sugar or starches, so no cake for me. My favorite way to celebrate my birthday is with my immediate family, though it’s hard to get them all together now that we live across the country from some of them. I also like to celebrate at Texas Roadhouse with a nice, juicy steak!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! I have lots of favorite birthday cakes. If it has chocolate and nuts, it will be a favorite! My Mom always made me a Mississippi Mud Cake. It was huge, it was rich, and t it got better the longer it sat. Even with sharing it would last a week 😁

My all time favorite birthday cake is homemade Carrot Cake. It was even my wedding cake of choice.
I also just turned 50 this year! I’m thankful to still be around as lost my mom to cancer and I still miss her. Didn’t do many special things fot my birthday this year, but it was a good one. My fave cake…I absolutely love carrot cake with cream cheese icing or cheesecake factory red velvet. Happy Birthday!
