Seasonal Birding Fun
There are so many ways to celebrate the season with birds, from themed decor to holiday carols to welcoming birds to your yard with calorie-rich treats or even buying Christmas gifts for your backyard birds. You can also give bird-themed gifts to others, either enjoying birds with other bird-loving family members and friends or introducing the love of birds to others on your gift list. You can even join in seasonal events, including owl prowls, bird counts, feeder monitoring, and more. However you choose to have birds in your season, do it your way and enjoy them!

Even if the answer is “they’re not really” that’s fine, you can still enter! For me, some bird-themed ornaments will make appearances on our Christmas tree, and I’ve collected every one of the miniature “Beauty of Birds” ornament collection from Hallmark, which get a special tree of their own with a berry-style garland. They bring me wonderful holiday joy, and I hope these prizes will do the same for you!

I don’t really incorporate birds in my holiday but it does sound like something I’d like to do! I hope you have a merry Christmas!
I make sure my bird feeders are full and leave bowls of grape jelly out. Also love seeing my quail come in droves.
Doves are my birds for Christmas, although I love having humming birds feeding in winter. I hope you have a peaceful holiday season without any unexpected Doctors visits.
My kitchen is decorated with Cardinals all year round and I love looking out the windows seeing real ones in the trees, birdfeeders, and snow decorating the outside of our property during the holidays and beyond. I also chuckle at the turkeys who parade past our windows on and near Thanksgiving and Christmas! 8+)
I have several bird related ornaments that I use on the tree each year (birds, nests). Since I love to cross stitch and make cards for friends, I look for designs that include birds. As for outside, so many of my favorite birds (vultures, Sandhill Cranes and swallows/swifts) have abandoned me and that’s disappointing. LOL
Well there is usually a turkey on the table, does that count? My back yard birds are chickens and they get the left over cranberries and veggies.
Cute small birds with lifelike feathers tucked in the christmas tree branches. Some fun small standing birds with vest and festive hat for around the house, they’re so cute!! My fave titmice, chickadees, finches, cardinals all flitting to and fro around the feeders!! Love all the birds, and here’s to you spending joyful days smiling at/with them all too!!
